Video recordings
There are several benefits of using video recordings as a learning ressource in your teaching:
- Students can watch them when it suits them - and they can pause, repeat or rewatch it
- Video recordings tend to be shorter, more condensed. This makes them suited as inputs for discussions or exercises where students can interact with you and each other.
- Videos should be kept short with one or two topics. The attension span for students watching videos are 8-12 minuttes.
- It is possible to combine different types of content (screen, PowerPoints, lab or field work, interviews, etc) or add quiz elements to the video
